Terms of use

You must be 18 or older

XChat is an adult product. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 are removed without notice.

XChat is in development

XChat is free and actively being built. Features change, things break, and progress can be lost during early development. It is provided as-is.

Conduct

Everything that happens between players is between consenting adults. Harassment, and any attempt to involve minors or depict them, ends the account permanently and is reported.

Suspension and removal

We can suspend or remove any account that breaks these terms or the content policy.

What you create

Characters, photos and messages you create stay yours. You let us store them and show them inside XChat so it can run.

XDL

XDL is in-world currency. It has no cash value and can be changed or reset during development.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, lost data, or other players' behaviour.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using XChat after a change means you accept it.
